MUST HAVES
AUTUMN/WINTER

Seventies inspired looks. They are not necessarily hippy-like, but resemble the chic seventies – such as ‘Halston’ or ‘Studio 54’: white suits, flared pants, expressive prints, soft flowing silk blouses, tailored tunics with 70’s bellbottoms. Of course ‘colour blocking’ belongs to this theme and remains intact.

Join the dots.  Dots, round shapes and the harmonious elements of the new spring 2012 fashion have become the major theme here. Colours are clear and individual looks are playful – best matched with great shoes, necklaces and scarves.

Racy Lacy. Lace is omnipresent, sometimes innocent and naïve, sometimes sexy and provocative, either as an additional detail or as an allover trend item.

Colour Allover. The obvious signals come from strong colours: coral, hot pink, orient blue or spring green. This means: wear color allover! From head to toe!

Mix of material and silhouette. A very big fashion topic concerning the knit wear collection, especially when fashion becomes more clean.

Leather in bright colours. Also in hot pink - but more relaxed in pebble gray as well.

Trenchcoat + Trenchbiker-jackets. For sophisticated combinations

The White Shirt. Classic shirts, caftan shirts or slip shirts, simple V-necks or high-necked – clean chic.

Pink . the colourful surprise!!! Matches black wonderfully – this makes reference to the lingerie idea (Agent Provocateur) as well as ‘Baby’ from ‘Dirty Dancing’. Pink is also an unexpected combination with ecru. Colour gives new input.

Sports Infusion. Performance sportswear (Stella McCartney for Adidas, Y3, Heidi Klum for New Balance) with its innovative materials and processing techniques is important and drives designers who are looking for a masterful ‘crossover look’, especially for a young, urban audience: reduced, comfortable and functional.

Clogs. Tok Tok- this ist he sound oft he summer! Clogs continue to be fashionable in summer 2012, but we show them more colorful, more creative and comfortable!

Scalpelized. Many pieces appear as though they have been ‘slit up with a scalpel and put back together again’ – it’s the patchwork idea, colour blocking or mix and match with a difference. This trend remains, only the emphasis is fresher and more subtle (despite the massive colour fireworks).

Oh, so sweet. Preppy fashion for prim women – a major theme in the young preppy domain. And whatever is young and trendy will also be desired by the ‘big’ girls!

Animalistic. We love our animals! Especially when it comes to accessories! Our lovely owl is also part of the Jones family!

Black. Yellow themes are always in danger of being ‘want it all’ thoughts! The sunshine yellow jewelry – flash – contrast colour brings together joie de vivre and good thoughts perfectly.
